The Psychology Department is in charge of providing emotional support and educating patients regarding the medical treatments offered at the clinic.


ROLES

• Ensure coordination with patients.
• Establish communication with patients.
• Act as liaison between the scientific staff, procedures and patients.
• Explain to patients the different steps comprising each treatment.
• Provide emotional support to the patients.
• Clarify doubts and concerns.
• Lower stress levels.
• Design relaxation techniques to help patients deal with their treatments.
• Provide patients with the necessary educational material.
• Determine expectations.
• Examine complaints and suggestions.
